Crispy Flatbread with Brie, Cranberries & Toasted Walnuts with a Maple Syrup Drizzle
Ingredients:
2 flatbreads or naan
6 oz Brie cheese, thinly sliced
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp maple syrup (plus more for drizzling)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add walnuts and cinnamon, toasting for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Stir in 1 tbsp maple syrup and remove from heat.
Place flatbreads on a baking sheet. Top evenly with sliced Brie, followed by cranberries and the maple-glazed walnuts.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the Brie is melted and the flatbread edges are golden and crisp.
Remove from oven and drizzle lightly with additional maple syrup. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
Slice and serve warm as an appetizer or light meal.
