Blueberry Lemon Hibiscus Protein Refresher
A refreshing, high-protein drink with fruity blueberries, tart lemon, and floral hibiscus—perfect after a workout or as a healthy afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients (2 servings)
2 cups brewed hibiscus tea, chilled
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Juice of 1 lemon (about 2–3 tbsp)
1 scoop (25–30 g) vanilla or unflavored protein powder
1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
½ cup cold water or coconut water
1 cup ice cubes
Lemon slices and fresh mint, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Brew the hibiscus tea and allow it to cool completely.
Add the chilled hibiscus tea, blueberries, lemon juice, protein powder, water (or coconut water), and honey (if using) to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Add the ice and blend again until frosty.
Pour into two glasses and garnish with lemon slices, a few blueberries, and fresh mint if desired.
Optional Boosts
Add 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed for extra fiber and omega-3s.
Blend in a handful of spinach for added nutrients without changing the flavor much.
Use a berry-flavored protein powder for an even fruitier taste.
