Slow Cooker Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
2 lbs (900 g) chicken tenders
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Arrange the chicken tenders in the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper evenly over the chicken.
Pour the chicken broth around the chicken and top with the butter.
Cover and cook:
Low: 5–6 hours, or
High: 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
About 20 minutes before serving, add the softened cream cheese. Cover and let it melt, then stir until the sauce is smooth.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, if using, until melted.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Storage
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
