Cajun Salmon and Shrimp

Cajun Salmon and Shrimp
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz/170 g each)
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil, divided
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine the paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
Pat the salmon and shrimp dry with paper towels. Rub the salmon with 1 tablespoon olive oil and coat both sides with half of the Cajun seasoning. Toss the shrimp with the remaining olive oil and seasoning.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
Stir in the lemon juice and return the salmon to the skillet. Spoon the buttery garlic sauce over the salmon and shrimp.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
