Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin 🍯🍖
Ingredients
1½ lb (700 g) pork tenderloin
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
6 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp onion powder
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the pork: Pat the pork tenderloin dry. Season all over with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
Sear: Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork for about 2–3 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
Make the honey-garlic sauce: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and thyme.
Combine: Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter to the skillet and pour the honey-garlic sauce over the pork. Turn the tenderloin several times to coat it well.
Bake: Transfer the skillet to a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven. Bake for approximately 15–20 minutes, basting once or twice with the sauce, until the thickest part reaches 145°F (63°C).
Rest: Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. The sauce will thicken slightly as it cools.
Serve: Slice into medallions, spoon the honey-garlic sauce over the top, and garnish with fresh parsley.
