🍖 3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Pork Ribs
Tender, juicy, fall-off-the-bone ribs with almost no prep! The ribs cook low and slow in a simple sauce made from everyday pantry staples.
Ingredients
1 rack pork ribs (about 2½–3 lb / 1.1–1.4 kg)
1 cup barbecue sauce
½ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp yellow mustard
Instructions
Prepare the ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it is still attached. Pat the ribs dry and cut the rack in half or into sections so they fit comfortably in your slow cooker.
Make the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and mustard.
Coat the ribs: Place the ribs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them. Turn the ribs a few times so they’re well coated.
Slow cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the pork is very tender and cooked through.
Optional finishing step: Carefully transfer the ribs to a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush generously with more of the cooking sauce and broil for 2–4 minutes, watching closely, until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
Serve: Let the ribs rest for about 5 minutes, then cut between the bones and serve with your favorite sides.
🍽️ Perfect Sides
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, corn on the cob, or buttery dinner rolls.
Tip: Don’t add extra liquid—the ribs release plenty of juices as they cook, creating a rich, flavorful sauce.
