Zero-Carb Cheese Crisps
If you’re craving something crunchy, savory, and incredibly easy, these cheese crisps are a favorite. With virtually zero carbs per serving (depending on the cheese used), they’re perfect as a snack, appetizer, or low-carb chip substitute.
Ingredients
1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, or a blend
Optional seasonings:
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Paprika
Italian seasoning
Black pepper
Oven Method
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place small mounds (about 1 tablespoon each) of shredded cheese on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
Sprinkle with any desired seasonings.
Bake for 5–7 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Let cool completely. They will crisp up as they cool.
Microwave Method
Place small piles of shredded cheese on a parchment-lined microwave-safe plate.
Microwave for 45–90 seconds, depending on your microwave’s power.
Allow to cool for several minutes until crisp.
