Golden Green Protein Smoothie
Ingredients (2 servings)
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
2 cups fresh spinach
1 frozen banana (optional for sweetness and creaminess)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (or ½ teaspoon ground ginger)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon black pepper (helps your body absorb turmeric)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
Add the almond milk to a blender.
Add the spinach, protein powder, almond butter, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, vanilla, banana (if using), and ice.
Blend for 60–90 seconds until completely smooth.
Taste and adjust sweetness if desired. Add a few drops of stevia or a teaspoon of honey if you’re not avoiding sugar.
Pour into bottles and refrigerate.
Storage
Refrigerate for up to 2 days in airtight bottles.
Shake well before drinking, as natural separation is normal.

1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed
½ avocado for extra creaminess
½ teaspoon matcha powder
A squeeze of fresh lemon juice for a brighter flavor
