Ingredients
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
10–12 fresh mint leaves
1.5–2 liters (6–8 cups) cold water
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
Wash the cucumber, lemon, ginger, and mint thoroughly.
Add the cucumber slices, lemon slices, ginger, and mint leaves to a large pitcher.
Pour in the cold water and stir gently.
Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to allow the flavors to infuse. For a stronger flavor, let it infuse overnight.
Serve over ice and enjoy throughout the day. Refill the pitcher with water once or twice before replacing the ingredients.
Tips
For a sweeter drink, add a few slices of orange or a small drizzle of honey.
Replace mint with fresh basil for a different flavor.
