🍓 Homemade Strawberry Creamy Liqueur
A rich, fruity strawberry drink with a beautiful pink color. Perfect chilled, over ice, or served as a dessert drink.
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) fresh strawberries, hulled
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
1 cup (240 ml) water
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
1 cup (240 ml) sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½–2 cups (360–480 ml) vodka
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, optional
Instructions
Prepare the strawberries:
Wash, hull, and roughly chop the strawberries.
Make the strawberry mixture:
Add strawberries, sugar, and water to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries soften and release their juices.
Blend:
Let the mixture cool slightly, then blend until smooth. For an extra-smooth drink, strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
Make it creamy:
In a large bowl or blender, combine the strawberry puree, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. Blend until creamy.
Add the vodka:
Once the mixture has cooled completely, stir in the vodka. Add lemon juice if desired for a slightly brighter strawberry flavor.
Chill:
Transfer to clean, airtight bottles or jars and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Serve:
Shake well before serving and pour chilled into small glasses. It can also be served over ice.
