Garlic Ginger Beef Stir-Fry
🥩 Ingredients
500 g beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp vegetable oil
6 cloves garlic, sliced
2 tbsp fresh ginger, julienned
1 small onion, sliced
2 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp water
1 tsp brown sugar
½ tsp black pepper
Directions
Toss the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let it sit for 15–20 minutes.
Heat the vegetable oil in a hot pan. Sear the beef in batches until browned, then remove.
In the same pan, cook the garlic and ginger until fragrant and lightly golden. Add the onion and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Return the beef to the pan. Add the water, brown sugar, and black pepper, then stir until the sauce becomes glossy and coats the beef.
Finish with the green onions and serve hot with steamed rice.
