Crispy Parmesan Beef-Stuffed Green Olives
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients
For the olives:
24–30 large pitted green olives
½ pound (225 g) lean ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the coating:
1 large egg, beaten
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain any excess fat and let cool.
Using clean hands or a small piping bag, carefully stuff each olive with the cooked beef mixture.
Mix the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl.
Dip each stuffed olive into the beaten egg, then coat well in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
Arrange the olives on a lightly greased baking sheet or in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray or drizzle with olive oil.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or air fry for 8–10 minutes, until the coating is golden brown and crispy.
Serve warm with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or garlic aioli for dipping.
Tips
Use spicy Italian sausage instead of ground beef for extra flavor.
Add a small cube of mozzarella inside each olive for a cheesy surprise.
These can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
