Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen
    • Strawberries, sliced
    • Blueberries
    • Raspberries
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, optional

  1. Cook the oats:
Add the oats, milk, cinnamon, and salt to a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Reduce the heat and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy.
  3. Add the berries:
Stir in about half of the berries and cook for 1–2 minutes, allowing them to soften and release some of their juices.
