Cheesy Garlic Bread Pizza
Ingredients
For the Garlic Bread
1 large French bread loaf or Italian loaf, sliced in half lengthwise
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Pizza Toppings
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
20–25 pepperoni slices (optional)
Your favorite toppings (cooked sausage, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, olives, bacon, etc.)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and Parmesan cheese.
Prepare the bread: Spread the garlic butter evenly over both halves of the bread. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly toasted.
Add the toppings: Remove the bread from the oven. Spread pizza sauce over each half, then top with mozzarella, cheddar (if using), pepperoni, and any other desired toppings. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Bake again for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
For extra browning, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Let cool for 2–3 minutes, then slice into pieces and serve hot.
Tips
Add cooked chicken and bacon for a hearty version.
Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and fresh basil after baking for even more flavor.
Serve with ranch dressing or marinara sauce for dipping.
