🥩 Delicious Baked Pork Chops
Tender, juicy pork chops baked in a savory garlic-herb seasoning and finished with a flavorful pan sauce. Easy enough for a weeknight dinner and delicious with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables!
Ingredients
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the pork chops. Pat the chops dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil.
Make the seasoning. In a small bowl, combine paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and thyme. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the pork chops.
Make the sauce. Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, chicken broth, and honey or brown sugar.
Arrange and bake. Place the pork chops in the prepared baking dish and pour the sauce around and slightly over them.
Bake uncovered for about 20–25 minutes, depending on thickness. The pork is done when the center reaches 145°F (63°C) on an instant-read thermometer.
Rest. Remove from the oven and loosely cover with foil. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes so the juices redistribute.
Finish and serve. Spoon the buttery pan sauce over the pork chops and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
