Soothing Blueberry Juice

🫐 Soothing Blueberry Juice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or sweetener, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger, optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
  • Ice, for serving
  • Fresh mint, for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Blend:
Add the blueberries and water to a blender. Blend for 30–60 seconds until smooth.
  2. Strain:
Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing gently with a spoon to extract the juice. For a thicker, more fiber-rich drink, you can skip straining.
  3. Flavor:
Stir in the lemon juice, honey, ginger, and vanilla extract if using.
  4. Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or serve immediately over plenty of ice.
  5. Serve:
Garnish with fresh blueberries and mint. Stir well before serving.

Storage

Keep refrigerated in a covered pitcher for up to 2–3 days. Shake or stir before drinking.

Optional Variation

For a sparkling version, replace 1 cup of the water with chilled sparkling water just before serving.
